Hunting

Simply put, nowhere on Earth beats Kodiak for great hunting. Take on the world-famous Kodiak brown bear, or fill up the freezer with Sitka black-tailed deer, bison and Roosevelt elk. If you want to go for bragging rights, hike high into the snow-capped peaks for mountain goat and Dall sheep – every Alaskan’s dream hunt. And, of course, autumn is waterfowl season, including the highly sought harlequin and Barrows goldeneye ducks.
